    Unfortunately, although it looks like an ancient Roman coin, this one is actually a modern reproduction. It is purporting to be an antoninianus of emperor Gordian III, but the artwork and style of lettering is just plain wrong for the time period. There's an example of an identical copy in the FORVM fakes database of ancient coins: https://www.forumancientcoins.com/fakes/displayimage.php?pid=16073
