New to coin collecting need some help please

1999 Delaware D Quarter i do not know if this is a damaged coin or is it a error coin any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Here are a few pics.

There is nothing there that would be considered an error, it is all damage.

I’m still learning too but I’m gonna say, dryer coin - it gets warmed up and rolled around a lot and the edges fold over and flatten out

Look at this reverse of the same coin. The off color of a coin's skin is called toning, sometimes pretty cool and other times just plain undesirable.
Does your coin show any toning ?

Are all your T's crossed ?

On the back of the saddle do you see a image of a swords hilt ? (handle)

The reason I'm interested about these factors is a little premature to say for sure at this time.
Save the coin. But, that's just my thoughts.
