I actually really like the design of the silver medal for the Merc:

Art Deco
Looks like anime cartoon style. Kind of neat but does not appeal to me personally

What in the world is she holding onto with her left hand? Is she riding in a jeep??

Pretty sure it’s supposed to be a shield. But took me a min to figure that out.
Well, for those who care about such things, it appears to already be CAC approved!

By the way, I think I like it.

An original design, something refreshing, along with the image flowing from obverse to reverse. That was the time of art deco, so utilizing that in the artistry adds to the paring with the dime. I just might look at this one in 2026.
Looks like it was done by one of the animators who did some of the shows on Cartoon Network in the late 90's and early 2000's.
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
Interesting design.
Looks likes she's lifting a weight while stabbing something.
Odd subject matter. It could turn out to be a medal that is actually sought after in the decades ahead for that very reason.
Forget about it being "Mercury" as it never was. That name just became popular because of the winged liberty cap signifying freedom of thought being misinterpreted as "Mercury". Will freedom of thought even be permitted in future decades?
