    Hopefully they’re nice designs

God comes first in everything I do. I’m dedicated to serving Him with my whole life. Coin collecting is just a hobby—but even in that, I seek to honor Him. ✝️

I'm setting the expectations low for this given all the previews we had about what's going into these. If they simply commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and events surrounding only that, then I'll be pleasantly surprised. If they designs are good, then I'll be further pleasantly surprised.

The challenge they're going have making these stand out is that they've been changing the designs on the quarters so often for 26 years that the 250th special design won't really stick out as something special. The dime will be the only one anyone notices, since it's the longest unchanged design of all US coinage.

Oh, and what's the over/under on number of special finishes and manners of packaging that will be available?

    .
Possibly Lincoln cents also, if they're still making them for mint and proof sets.

My Adolph A. Weinman signature :)

The Women's quarter series was a low point (IMHO). I do not expect the USM to do any better. :(

Welp, get ready for more new designs on the Quarter and the Half after next years 250th stuff.

From 2027-2030(4 years), the Quarters will have up to five Youth Sports designs annually, and the Half will have a single Paralympic sport design annually. I'll leave my opinion out of this conversation.

At least then I can finish the rest of my Kennedy Half-Dollar proof collection without having to worry about new issues. As for sports on coins, that ranks right up there with superhero stuff on coins. A definite no vote, so nothing to collect.

This year(2025) will be the last year of the Kennedy Half as we know it.

@erscolo . Not my area of collecting but are you saying that they are no longer going to be making Proof Kennedy Halves? James
