Limit posts to things that only pertain to buying and selling; other comments/questions can be messaged privately to the seller/buyer so it doesn't clutter up the thread.
Please do not make any extra threads on this subject matter in the Precious Metals forum.

hackers have been hijacking users accounts and drawing people in with "deals" like gold for spot. typically get crypto, sometimes offer paypal ff.
the first hit was @BAJJERFAN ! the hacker stole his account and got several people who thought they were dealing with the real BAJJERFAN

Just a reminder.. never click links in emails. Always open a new browser tab and go to the website directly. There are some very convincing scam emails that appear official or direct you to a fake website that has a letter missing in the URL or something.
Also never share passwords between platforms. That way if your PayPal gets hacked you don't also lose your Google pay, collectors Universe, or whatever else.
You should also be using passwords with capital letters, lower case letters, numbers and special characters. Instead of a password like "goldcoins" you want to use something like "Goldcoins1946?!"
Be cautious of any messages from fellow forum members offering to exchange their PMs for your bitcoin. They will ask you to send it to their "wallet" were it will disappear forever.
