    Appears original to me also. The fact that it's on a 1913 Nickel adds to the possibility of being original.

    And the condition.
    Generally, modern replica "hobo" nickels are 'carved' on VG or lesser coins.

    Yeah that looks like original hobo craftsmanship. Throw it in ebay with good photos and it will fetch over $300.
