Leave it up to the Lakers who're always trying to one-up the Celtics, the Grousbeck's sell the C's for a record price then Jeanie Buss comes in soon after telling them to hold her beer.
It seems like quite a few teams have changed owners over the past 5-6 years...LA, Boston, Dallas, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Brooklyn & Utah. Minnesota will soon be added to that list.

Im not that shocked given the sale prices of other franchises recently. Even the Rays are in talks for well over a billion and they dont even have a stadium. Would be really curious to see what the Cowboiys or Yankees would sell for
