They might be listed as 1991. With some sets in that time frame, the manufacturer used the year to describe when it happened. So "1990 Score Hottest Rookies" might be a set released in 1991 but references who when the player was hot. So here is a a set of players that were scorching during the 1990 season.
The only sets I see by Score with Hot in is from 1991.
