ND: Always "reprinted"? Or some notes just have no date?

Wasn't sure how to ask this. However, here's my example.

I was looking at Bolivia Peso notes. Some were dated 1984 but were actually listed as ND 2006. Meaning they said 1984 on the face, but were reprinted in 2006 (and stamped on the back to show this). I didn't want this kind. I wanted a legit 1984 bill and found one. So in that case, ND means a reprint with inaccurate date on face.

So then I was looking at Gambia Dalasis from the 90s. Loads of those bills are listed as ND. Except, in this case, I don't see a date on any of them. So, rather than telling me they've been reprinted, is the ND just saying that Gambia Dalasis notes from the 90s literally have no date on the note? Or does it still mean they've been reprinted?

And if there's no date, how in the world do I find out when a note was printed, anyway?

Thanks for any help.

I interpret ND as meaning that there is no date printed on the note at all. I need a guidebook then to figure out when it was printed. Also be aware that even if there is a date on the note, it is not necessarily when the note was printed. Often, for example in the USA, the date is a formal legal date, and not the date when printed, unlike with coins. So if you are very picky about the actual year of issue/printing, it might not be easy!

Okay. What book do you use to date them? Two different sellers gave me two different websites.
