Just wondering what grade I could reasonably expect on this coin.
it came to me with a small "world" collection recently.
what is it worth? ebay is not a reliable indication.

I think it easily gets into the MS spectrum. I see 63 as the most probable outcome. As the color designation, the image would lead me to think RB is the most probable. I do not see Red unless the color is more vibrant in hand. Hopefully the submission meets your expectations if you choose that route.

is it worth grading? this coin is out of my interest as I am "strictly" Canadian.
sometimes buying a collection brings surprises.

I'm pretty close at 62 RB as there are some unfortunate scrapes on cheek & hair with some obv. die wear. Possibly 175 USD range in value. Probably would not grade it.
Well, just Love coins, period.
As this is a rather standard and basic issue, it would strike me that on this side of the pond, you wouldn't be able to sell that raw for anything close to what it would bring if slabbed with a straight MS grade.
Agreed, and that was the estimate base on if slabbed at that number (62RB), and not what I would pay in either case.
