CAC updated stickering prices

GoldbullyGoldbully Posts: 17,934 ✭✭✭✭✭

There will be a price increase and rebate change beginning June 1, 2025 for CAC stickering. The price increase will only impact the Economy tier – the new price will be $24.50 per coin. All other CAC stickering tiers and resticker fees will remain the same. In addition to the price increase, the rebate for non-CAC coins will decrease from 25% to 15% on all stickering submissions. The grading fees at CAC Grading in Virginia Beach will remain unchanged.
This price increase is needed to ensure more favorable turnaround times for our members. Any packages postmarked after June 1st will be subject to the new stickering pricing structure.

Hopefully the packages will deliver sooner with the added fee.

I would analyze analyze that factor into cost added to the item (fees, shipping) then look how it stacks up to CAC bid / CPG.

Denny takes 1.4 (his Calc ind avg) x new cost after subm get his ask bid based on his research on mkt) to get his cost for retail. If CaC CPG higher goes with that instead. This is then his bourse room price but may come down say 10 pct for haggle room. If they offer less then its time for them to take their pathetic loser bs and leave he says. Many CACG coins low pop single digits so there seller in driver seat . They pay his price or don’t get the coin. Now offer close say no more than 5-10 pct discount one may want let it go for cash flow.

CACG Winter Brick BTW realizing substantial premiums in market place as demand high. If low single digit pop then seller owns the line of scrimmage. I believe the WB may have their own (lower) pop vs the others of that issue grade. I wb analyzing mine see if this so.

Unless like me, I want the peace of mind knowing the people at CAC stickering agree the coin is indeed solid for the grade, and there were no surface treatments applied that are acceptable to the TPG's, but unacceptable in the opinion of CAC. Then the cost of obtaining the sticker doesn't matter.

You do realize that doesn’t prevent tarnish / spots from exposure to the atmosphere, salt air etc? I do CACG coins but leery of non CACG stickered material bc how long have they been out?
