I just picked this up. My 3rd CACG coin, also known as a Brick. (I no longer own the first 2 though). Sellers pics, it's a little less bright in hand but nice. It's the medium MM variety. At some point I'll probably chase down a large MM.

why are they called a Brick?

I have seen some that say Whitter Brick and thought it was because they were part of the 'raffle' with unknown contents in a box.

CAC slabs are not called bricks, that is just the op getting in his "dig" at CAC. The CAC slab is slightly larger and thicker than a PCGS or NGC slab and the sides are flat. You can stand a CAC slab on a flat surface without it falling over where both of the other slabs will fall over. Imo the CAC slab is the best on the market, ymmv.

What is the Witter brick label? From a collection?

No it is just a promotion from Whitter coin in CA. They sold some mystery boxes of coins and had PCGS print up some special labels for the promotion. Just another of the gimmicks that have become popular in the hobby.

CACG not PCGS. Witter bricks are CACG slabs. Ultrabreaks are PCGS slabs. Vault Box has NGC slabs.

It's not a dig, no more so than "fatty", "rattler" or "soapbox".

It is a huge square slab though, but it does have superior optics. I like them better than NGC slabs.

I have to say, CACG has a real nice slab.

WB coins seeing strong demand. My current view they worth at least 25 pct or more vs non WB. Seen some marked up even higher. As far as investment potential guys set up around me recently are very bullish on them. Have retailed some doing very well as that mkt getting noticed. Be sure investigate their (lower) pops so get proper retail pricing. Do not let them talk you down. They will try haggle w u (their bS) make them pay. Especially if low pop coins (only one in bourse room).
