Need help identifying 1622 likely european specimen

Evening Worldly Friends, after a couple hours of trying, I need help identifying this 1622 specimen...

The closest match I can find is this 1622 French coin on ebay...

Given the letters visible, is there a way to narrow it down or perhaps get a match? Cannot find a match for the "NICOL" (perhaps Nicholas?). Tried image search and still nogo. Near the funky letter "C", it looks like a Lion foot.
