1878 7 Tail Feather Grading

I want to send this coin out for grading, but these Morgans have been in a coin folder for many years. The blue dye from the folder has transfered to the some of the coins. Not sure if it's worth sending for grading.

the acetone dip suggestion hasn't been suggested yet? the i suggest you try the acetone dip suggestion
The second photo of the obverse makes it apparent that the coin has been cleaned
It does seem like there is some wipe/slide marks in the fields and device. Unfortunate since Rev 79.
Unfortunately it does look cleaned. In the second obverse image it really shows up in front of Libertys face. Still has some value but it would most likely end up with a details grade. Not worth the trouble.
Do you have any other coins you want to post?

The coin looks cleaned and probably doesn’t merit the cost of grading.

Looks cleaned, especially in the second picture.
