1949 Chinese 10,000 yuan note

My mother in law just gave me 6 of these notes and I looked them up online and they potentially seem to be valuable but I don't know much about currency especially Chinese notes from 1949. My guess is they are not worth much but wanted to check and also wanted to make sure they were real. In doing some research, I noticed these notes come with or without a watermark but I can't find any information on how to know the difference. Any help on values and where to find the watermark would be appreciated. 5 of the 6 notes are in pretty good shape with minimal wear but they have all been lightly handled with a few creases on each one.
Thanks!

My Pick Vol 2, 7th edition, has this as Peoples Republic of China P-854, with a value $3 in F, $9 in XF. That listing does not mention anything about a watermark. To check the watermark, hold the note up to a light, and if there is a watermark, you would see a dark/light contrast somewhere.
It is a nice note design, I like it!
Thank you for looking it up and sharing the information. I appreciate it.
Nice note 🙂
If it is an authentic P-854 than it could be worth a lot. Check the following link on Numista for the P-854 10,000 Yuan. A note like this may be worth a visit to your LCS to verify whether it is authentic (or not) & perhaps certification would be worth your while...

That is a rather higher value than was in my (old) Pick V2!
I will have to bring them to the next coin show I go to and find out their authenticity and values. Thanks everyone for the comments.
Yes, the SCWPM got really dated even in their latest incarnations. My 16th Edition of SCWPM (published in 2016) has P-854 at $350 in UNC. Today's Numista's pricing table puts an AU at $710 which is nowhere near what sellers on eBay want for this 10,000 Yuan note in high grade. That is why there are many fakes out there too.
