What Do You Think? 1975 Bahamas 5 cents (double dated "73"?) Help Dan Carr???

OK, not a valuable coin but of interest to at least some: I recently bought off eBay a 1975 Bahamas 5c struck by ? the Royal Mint with what appears to be a ghost double date of "73" in the reverse field to Right of pineapple; there is an even fainter "19" to the Left of pineapple.
This coin had been mentioned (see ref.) by Ken Potter in a 2004 article. What I will do is show pictures of the 1975 coin in his article, then this coin and then pictures of the Royal Mint and Franklin Mint 1973 coins so that you can see the original "73" on them. What do you think - was the die refurbished somehow or trick of the eye or ???
