When did PCGS change the submission page and why did they make it more complicated??

So I just went through the submission process with the "new" PCGS submission page and it sure seems more complicated than before with unnecessary changes. Am I the only one who feels that way and when did all these changes take place?? It's almost reminiscent of that April Fools joke they played on us with the forum format.

One of a myriad of reasons I have never submitted a coin for grading, on any service. No problems, no frustrations, no worries that way. Life is good.

I sent in a submission today. Not sure if I like the new format.

Like anything, it is going to take some getting used to.

After going through the process, I clicked on the submit button and the whole thing crashed.

When I refreshed the screen, the site was back on.

One thing different, there was three copies for PCGS and none for the customer.

So I printed out a PCGS Copy and crossed out PCGS Copy and wrote Customer Copy.

    Anyone else have some thoughts?

I just fill out the subm forms then mail them in. Keep copy that says customer. This is no longer possible?

There is something to be said about the old fashioned way of submitting coins.

Press hard with that ballpoint pen, you are making three copies. 😁

Yes, of course you can submit your coins using the multi copy PCGS sub. form through the U.S. Mail.

After this submission experience I might just try the old "paper forms" route. I'm already worried something will get screwed up on my order, who needs that?? To be honest, I'm left with the impression that these kind of changes have nothing to do with making it easier for a submitter, they are all about making it easier for PCGS.

Change. Thats my problem. I submit change. What’s the alternative ? Don’t submit change ? Either way , we have to deal with change.
