Would it be worth having this coin graded? 1945 D DDO Ten Centavos US Philippine coin.

Not real familar with the value end of these coins, but do have a wartime set of BU's. PCGS US Philippine coin value pages are no longer available to even have an idea. I would appreciate some of the Philippine collectors to chime in. Gold tine from lighting, coin is bright silver.
Thanks,
Jim

I do not know which double die you got - these pages suggest it may be worth it if you are going to sell

If you don't get the ddo designation (Allen-9.05b or Allen-9.05c), probably not

@davewesen
This coin appears to be the allen 9.05C as the 1 digit being key along with 9. Not as dramatic as the allen 9.05b, but still recognized as a variety by PCGS. I think I will submit and hopefully be correct. Thank you for your reply.

I seem to recall Wondercoin has an interest in Philippine coinage.
@wondercoin
I would submit this one even though I am uncertain of its rarity.

How many collectors care about this variety?
As of yesterday, the official count was 341. But I don’t know for certain if that number has changed since then.

Short answer to OP’s question- YES.

The better question is how many collectors know about the variety? Seems one has to be aware of a variety before one can know whether or not to care about it.
