Accessories FS: transfer stages; 20x loupes; B&L Microscopes; Photo Systems

For years I've sold "transfer stages" with "disappearing backgrounds" as accessories with the systems I've built for folks. They have photo-black velvet on one side, and true grey other side. You place a raw coin on the velvet, then "transfer" the stage under your camera lens. The stage helps you position the coin for the photo without touching it, and the black velvet "disappears" in the photo so you don't need to crop the coin out of the image. The true grey side is a reference for white balance or to give a reference grey background that is good for toned coins. I sell these for $30.

Recently folks have asked for an equivalent stage for slabs. I have created a stage large enough for slabs, with matte black card surface on one side, and true grey other side. I'm selling these for $25.

A few years ago I also introduced some super quality 20x loupes and have sold quite a few to forum members. These are now $25, and beat any of the available loupes out there.

Also have several B&L Stereo and StereoZoom microscopes available. I personally use a Stereo-1 with 10x eyepieces for all my searching. 10x magnification in stereo is high enough to see any variety worth attributing, and if I see something interesting I can then take a pic of it and view it in intimate detail. Typically these cost in the $200 range depending on accessories such as lighting, type of stand, etc.

And a reminder that I am still building photo systems for folks, for full coins, full slabs / notes / sets, and variety details. I am up to ~200 systems shipped! Many of the photos out there, including reference photos on websites such as Wexler's and others, museum websites, and many forum members here, were taken with my systems. Check out my website for reference systems and PM me with your needs.
