Interesting baseball stat on opening day

in Sports Talk
I thought about making it a trivia question, but probably everyone would have guessed it.
there has only been one starting pitcher with 500 games allowing six or less hits.
of course, it is Nolan Ryan. he actually had 572 such games!!!
that is pretty startling. especially where most of those games were 7-8-9 innings pitched.
the other surprising thing to me was who is in second place.
Don Sutton. He had 429 of those games.
I imagine that will be another Ryan record that will never be broken. How many current starters will even get to 572 career starts?
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Perhaps a "Don Sutton baseball cards are grossly undervalued" thread is in order.
I doubt anyone in any sport will ever play for 27 seasons, so that record(which he tied) is probably safe.
Verlander is the only one I can think of over 500 starts and he needs like 2 full healthy seasons to get to 572 starts. He probably has a deal with the devil though being able to throw 100 and landing Kate Upton so maybe he gets there despite his age
Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
