The Red Sox can add another loser contract to the pile, the $54M bust

Masataka Yoshida, coming to the states was touted a "pure elite hitter", has proven to be a long way from that. Although the Red Sox tried to move him earlier, his stats and surgery have resulted in him being not worth the cost. Yet another albatross hung around the Red Sox neck. With Devers apparently the new DH, this forces Yoshida to a defensive outfield position. Yoshida will now put some time in with minor league teams in Jacksonville and Worcester. Yet another contract blunder by the Red Sox, this guy makes $3m a month for very little return.

Not only that but they trade some of their best prospects for a starting pitcher who will not agree to a contract extension.
Houck is showing how worthless he is as a pitcher.
They name a 5th starter who I have never heard of before.
They name a closer who is washed up as a pitcher.
They sign Bregman as their 3rd baseman with an opt out at the end of the season.
Management for the Red Sox is spread out in too many other sports and not baseball!
Looks like another last place team to me this year.

Well Casas is probably going to be upset now too. Kristian Campbell is breaking camp as the Red Sox 2nd basemen

Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
