Trade Token for Antartica Food Service by US Dept of Interior
Hello Collectors Universe!
I have an interesting token for which I cannot find another example. The obverse commemorates the 3rd Antartic Exposition by Admiral Richard Byrd in 1939-1941. The reverse mentions US Department of Interior Antartic food service and appears to be a trade token... "Must Be Equal in Quality...".
Has anyone seen a similar token?

It's a really interesting advertising token.
It looks like it was manufactured by Whitehead & Hoag.

It looks like a commemorative medallion made by the Phillips Packing Company.
Sorry to go off subject, but this is as good of a place as any for an inside joke between @JBK and I.
Where's Kilroy?
He'll make an appearance soon.

Thanks @Coinosaurus! Great reference on the exact token in question.
@jmm2562 Along a similar vein, thought you'd enjoy my Antarctic Byrd dairy cow bronze medal. Outfitter didn't know the cow was with calf, momma and baby survived the exploration and gained some limelight. Enjoy. Peace Roy
