    Cracking out of grading holders; restoring defects; techniques to improve appearance and then getting graded all over again?

    Sure glad none of that happens in the coin hobby/business. :o

    If that seems ridiculous, the games we play seem equally silly to friends & family.

    It's no different than detailing a car or staging a house before selling, I suppose.

    Depends on who/what the cardboard features. I like old ballpayers no one alive has seen play in person.
