I really don't know if this is the look you are aiming for in this thread, but this is a silver medal that sat forever in its original cardboard box that was just large enough to hold the medal in place. It's about the size of a US silver dollar.

Here is an old-time favorite of mine- I love the date and its has that "Old-Time Gem Look".
