Hadn't seen anything about it in the "Numismatist ".
It's on the ANA website under Future Conventions.

Two years in a row for the Money Show in GA? Not exactly spreading it around, IMO.

Savanah is an interesting location for an ANA show.
@2ndCharter I thought everything or most everything that was on the website would or should be in the Numismatist. Don't remember seeing anything about Savanah in the Numismatist.

Meaning too big or too small?
I haven't seen that they posted the audio, but generally it's been not enough $ flow

As a destination outside of numismatics, Savannah is a wonderful and historic place to visit!
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
For those wondering about attendance at the WFOM in OKC this year just wait till the NMS in Savannah in 2026. It will be a ghost town.
🤣 I hope you're kidding.
If not, as with many things in life, there is no such thing as too big when it comes to cities bidding on conventions. Unfortunately for us, numismatic conventions are tiny in the convention world, where food and alcohol sales, in addition to room nights are as important, if not more so, to the host city than renting convention space.
We are just too small, and too frugal, to be interesting to most places. Just keep in mind that there are a finite number of weeks in the year, and a finite amount of convention space. It's not that they don't like us. It's just that they cannot justify renting convention space to us when it could otherwise be rented to another group that will come with a lot more ancillary revenue for the locality.
This is why the WFOM is never in truly premium locations (e.g. Rosemont as opposed to Chicago, or Pittsburgh instead of Philly or NYC), as it might have been a generation or two ago. The NMS is its baby sister, which is why most places simply have no interest in it.
An exception was Philly a few years ago, as a result of a war between the unions and the convention center that resulted in lots of national conventions pulling out, which created space that they were anxious to have us fill, even though they ordinarily are unwilling to give us the time of day. Don't hold your breath waiting for something like that to happen again, which is why we keep going back to Pittsburgh.
We went through this with TNA (Texas Numismatic Association) for 2024. The site we had been using closed, which was announced a few weeks before the 2023 show. Mostly because we had been there for a decade, they had offered fairly decent rates. But all of a sudden, the TNA needed to find about 25k SqFt of affordable space, within a window of a couple of weeks around Memorial Day 2024.
The board had to scramble. The new Arlington convention center had a room that was 28K, but 2x the cost. Other choices were worse - either a piece of a much larger facility or trying to squeeze into too little space. Which is how we ended up three hours south in Conroe. Major props to the GHCC for pulling it off without the corps of volunteers that had been built up in DFW over ten years.

It's a lot closer to Florida than Atlanta.
Savannah is an awesome town, but first rule in the selection process should be proximity to a major hub. I don’t think you can fly direct to Savannah from anywhere out west.
At the show today in Atlanta I was happy to see a solid west coast representation.
I know that Savannah is at least a real fun place to visit and my wife said she is looking forward to it so for that reason alone I’ll take the pick lol
All I know about Savannah, GA is it is a major sign stop on the way of my drive from NY to southern FL.
Indeed! And about a 4 hour drive for me, so it will make a nice little vacation.
