It’s odd how many pieces have come my way recently… I got a nice quarter ounce on Friday which I was going to keep raw, but have since changed my mind… My friend sent it to CACG, I’m still intrigued by the newness of that grading service so I sent a couple to them…

We shall see how they do. I’ll post them here when they get back!

This is the one I got last Friday, and it is on the way to grading… My guess is MS 69:

I also got a quarter ounce proof 1997, which is the standard flying Eagle reverse, which is really cool. I sent it alongside this 2004 so they will be matching holders…

I like the CACG holders, they’re really really clear they look pretty cool…

But this here is sweet I got this yesterday for $525! I love this design, some of the reverses I don’t care for on the proofs, but I do like this one…

I’m thinking about doing a box of 20 or perhaps a box of 10 of just platinum coins… Since I would do all three grading services: PCGS, NGC, and CACG, they make these little red boxes that hold all three types of slab perfectly… So if I get one of those, it will be a box of “10” but if I can find a bigger one, I might do a box of 20 with just platinum…
