Upcharged but for a good reason

Turned in a card for grading at the West Coast Card Show. Submitted under the service I thought the card would grade at. Well...got an email from PSA asking permission for the upcharge. Not too bad. Can't wait to get it in hand.

Incredible - how much were charged? What value did PSA give it?

I recently got an upcharge email, just got cards back in hand a couple days ago... maybe PSA is softening up and this will be a new trend! 🤣

I sent it in at the $149 fee for a max value of $2,500. They emailed me to charge $299 for $5,000 for the upcharge.

That's a limited card that's in a few popular registry sets. I can see it going higher. Nice 10.
