Great finds. I have never found one, but then again I have never looked, either, but for those who do look how many coins does it typically take to go through to find these?

Tom, at this point in time the ones remaining are getting harder to find. Doc posted here he got 2 out of the one $500 bank box.
I stopped searching bank boxes 2 years ago....
Not the best pics, but I went back and found on my phone the pic I took of the first Marsh-Billings W quarter I found back in 2020...fresh out of a box of new Marsh-Billings quarter bank rolls.

Not sure of how many rolls of quarters I have been thru, probably several hundred have found only two
'W's since 1st issued, but have found more than a dozen silver quarters.

I did not find any silvers. I kept the two "W" quarters and a really nice 1982P in AU. I also held on to a LA SHQ. The edge was not copper but Im guessing its an after market finish. Ill have to put it on my scale to be certain.
I got a box this week and turned up a 2019-W RONR quarter.
