1853 Seated Quarter - What Variety?

Was wondering if this is something special? I have gotten an unusual amount of interest in the coin, so thought it might be something special.

What a beautiful circ cameo coin! That’s my guess.

It's not the overdate. Gotta be the nice contrast.

It's a nice, circulated cameo of a very popular design. It reminds me of @lordmarcovan's circ cameo 'arrows and rays' quarter. Who doesn't like seated halves and quarters with arrows and rays?

  • Thanks guys! You were right, just sold it to a collector that needed it for his personal collection! Very cool.
