Is this 1970S Kennedy Half Dollar Valuable?

A few years ago, I got this coin in change and put it aside. Recently, I have started following coin collector sites and have determined that this S mint coin is a NIFC intended for part of a proof set. No telling how it got into circulation. It weighs 11.55g, which I think means it is one of the 40% silver ones. All comments are welcome.

I think you're a scumbag. Or, to be fair, maybe you were lying which makes you a liar.
No.

It's a circulated proof 40% silver JFK. It is worth its bullion value and the bullion value can be found in the website below-

You may also want to invest in a copy of the Red Book, which I highly recommend for you.

I'll give you 50 cents for it.

I’ll double that.
As for your other questions or observations regarding the coin.
It likely got into circulation because a proof set was given to a kid who didn't appreciate it and who then broke it open to use the coinage inside or it was simply stolen from grandpa's (or insert someone else) collection and spent. Lastly, all 1970-S JFK half dollars are 40% silver, so there was no need to weigh it for confirmation.

I've got a Dollar, Do I hear 2?
Melt is about $4.75 so I'll give you fair value of 30 cents.
You deserve less than that.
