1971 D Lincoln One Cent that weighs 3.32 g

I have this 1971 D lincoln One Cent that weighs 3.32 g.
I was wondering is that what you call just a heavy coin or is it an error ?
I did some research on heavy coins but I'm not familiar with wrong plancets, I'm still learning.
BTW I fixed the date/time on my scope for the 3rd time this morning.

Don't waste your time weighing coins.
I wouldn't be looking into a wrong planchet. Start by recalibrating your scale. If it still weighs heavy than you have a rolled thick planchet. The tolerance is .130g Making anything above 3.24g an error.
And at 3.3 g, still worthless as an “error”
There are only limited circumstances when weighing coins is warranted. A scale is usually used to help clarify or identify an anomaly that was already noticed through a visual inspection.
Weighing random coins for no reason is a huge waste of time.
I have been collecting cents for over 50 years - never weighed a single cent. I think this is a product of social media and the potential of a copper vs zinc 1982 comparison. The only other warrented weighing I can think of is with "Copper" 1943 and 'Steel" 1943 cents to confirm authenticity. Other than that you're better off reading a book on the minting process than weighing every cent you come across.
