followers of rwb's research know that the mint's records are not without fault. i'm willing to say it is possible, sometime way back, "gold went missing"

as the operation stands now, i find it extremely unlikely if some went missing

i do have faith that if gold went missing now, we'd know the serials

i expect to hear "what if everyone is in on it" and then i'd say why bother with an audit? play back the video and compare photos. turn the pallets into digital scales and total the weight so you can feign surprise at the for sure discrepancy

i just hope the people keeping the records and the people doing the work inside the vault are walled off

How much has he received from tax and carbon credits? How about begging the US govt for loans?
He's gotta get his $300 million campaign contribution back somehow.
We are weak, and becoming weaker. Poor ole America.

He's not ASKED for anything, just that Tesla be treated the same as everybody else.

I think everyone else just wants to be treated the same as Tesla.

    Beneficiary of another govt boondoggle?

    And no taxes....

Yeah, we just want to be treated the same.

And someone tell me why it matters how much gold is in Ft. Knox?

Well, I know there are 10 extra ounces there that shouldn't be. :D

Some are suggesting that there may be extra gold at FT Knox that should not be there. Where is Saddam's and Khadafi's gold?

I'd be quite surprised if there was more vs. less.

Listen, I am against waste, fraud, and abuse, but if you think Elon's motives are altruistic you are being naive. He >didn't invest 250 million without expecting to make a return on his investment. We need a government overhaul, >but not by someone that is currently suckling at the government teet.

You think that moves the needle for him or Tesla or SpaceX ?

Musk put $10 BB of his own money into "X" so I don't think it's strictly a question of a return on his investment. He does care about the country and some principles.

I have yet to see a single opponent of Musk say a peep about the $20 billion stolen by the EPA.

LOL, Elon cares about the country and not money.

What $20 billion stolen by the EPA? Please provide reliable sources, not something posted on Facebook or twiX. If you are referring to the $20 billion appropriated by congress and legally dispersed for "green" grants, that is not theft. While I don't like it either and think it is wasteful spending, that doesn't make it theft.

All Elon is doing right now is throwing out red meat in order to rile up the masses, regardless of the actual facts. I'm not saying you, but some people I know see a post by Elon, read it on Facebook, or hear it on Fox News and take it as the gospel without critical thinking or actual proof.

For some reason I would not trust the “self-appointed Auditors” to not steal everything they touched. Or else ship everything to Moscow for safekeeping.

when it comes to gov reform who would you trust more, congress persons who made their millions while serving in congress or a private individual who made his billions through innovation and hard work?

I don't trust either. I know that is somewhat of an obstacle to any meaningful reform. However, if Elon doesn't walk away from all of this with billions more in contracts and less oversight for Tesla, X, SpaceX, Starlink, Neuralink, The Boring Co., etc. I will come back on here and admit I was wrong. However, I'm not too worried about that happening.

Paying NGOs and political groups to lobby on behalf of Green extremism is theft.

If the other side paid groups opposed to WIC and other welfare programs to state the case AGAINST funding them, would you call that money spent on nutrition ? This was all a scam, and the perps admitted it. Theft.

If a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its a$$ when it walked.

So far he's identified a lot of waste, go Elon. DOGE Is what happens when trust in government hits zero. And for the complaints about head dog using youthful experts - remember that the "adults" are who ran agency after agency and department after department into the ground.

Really, what has he identified? He's made a lot of accusations and fired a lot of people (some of which serve critical roles that then had to be rehired showing gross incompetence), but I've yet to see a lot of verifiable waste or fraud that he has identified and/or cut.

I am not saying that there isn't plenty of waste that needs to be cut, I just don't think Elon's motives are what you think they are.

I have not seen him provide one piece of "evidence" so far. All he does is suddenly point an accusatory finger at somebody and shriek "OFF WITH THEIR HEAD!!!"

Gutter turds, that's what we've become. Not sure if you are a real CPT but if so I should say either Semper Fi or Sail on! Good luck, looks like this once great nation is going to need it. RGDS!

Of course those associated with DOGE will likely get some contacts, profits, contracts, etc. As does anyone who gets a government contract, grant, etc. I'm sure the motive is not entirely altruistic.

As mentioned above, this is what happens when trust in government is near zero. Probably time something like this is taking place. Though I do have some apprehension also.

But... we are getting rid of the cent coin finally! How many years has that taken??
