Has anyone had one lasting more than 46 days?!

No, this is my longest express and it was a new variety (for PCGS) that required a little attention.

Sounds like you need to speak to a supervisor.

This may be of interest to the "Guiness Book of World Records". Perhaps you should contact them. ;)

No I have one in that just went to encapsulation and I did everything wrong on the app. I used the new web on a crossover (you can't) and just hand wrote that in. I did also send it in with a walkthrough.

A little more info might provide context. Are these "ordinary" coins? Something rare and exotic? Attributions? Restoration?

My experience with Express has always been positive. Most of the time, PCGS has graded the coin in under 12 days or less.

I currently have an Express submission that was entered into the system on February 4th, and it's now in Encapsulation stage......Monday will be 9 business days.

I will report back the progress.

Similarly, I sent some world coins under world express, and initially it looked like it was going to be a long time, they sat unopened for about a week, but as soon as it was entered into the system, I wanna say it was in and out, back in the mail back to me in four or five days, which to me was just insanely quick!

Set dates that I can verify:
Coins mailed out to PCGS on Jan 15
Slab in my hand on Feb 4th!

And the TrueViews are improving also, at least they were on this particular order…

I’m happy with the way things are going. I hope the other ones speed up, I can only assume that the US coins are just really backed up. This was a world submission after all.

No attributions, and yes only regular high grade coins. I have requested a pedigree on the holder, that's all. Nothing exotic, just 5 hairy headed run of the mill Kennedys. I made them all from raw coin submissions except for the second 1967 in MS 67 and the 1982-P was in an MS 66 holder that I bought last year from auction sites. The 1982-P was upgraded to an MS 67. I bought the 1965, 1966 and the first 1967 back in 2001 from a dealer for about $1.50 each raw. That's the whole story.

As far as hard dates go: The 4 submissions were submitted in the same box on 29 November 2024, via priority mail.
They were received by PCGS on 6 December 2024.
PCGS entered them into their system on 12 December 2024.
I received the first coin on 30 December 2024.
I received the next coin back on 3 January 2025.
I received the next batch of 3 coins on 20 January 2025.
It's now 46 business days later and PCGS still has the last 5 coins in their hands. I was hoping for an early Christmas present, but now it looks more like a belated birthday gift? I bet if anything they'll get downgraded. Years back you could request a presidential review, but especially after this posting, I'll be lucky to keep the same grades? Should I delete this post tonight? Thanks in advance! Ray

That second 1967 and the 1982 are absolutely nuts coins! Good luck with the submission and getting satisfactory resolution.

By the way, this submission has been in the encapsulation phase for over a month now. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but was offered the reply of: I have sent an email or message to a supervisor to ask for an explanation, but still haven't received an update from a "supervisor". I requested for a way to contact the president to speak about this submission and also to elevate the TV issue, and was informed that there's no way to contact the president. I made phone calls, emails, posted this on the message boards and posting on the Message Boards got a response from Hy.
I submitted these coins for regrading so they would be removed from the holders to prevent an improper regrading due to marks on the holders. Maybe now you can see why I might be concerned? I lost a very nice group of Coin from Heritage a few months back and I don’t want to lose this batch of coins. and because they can’t locate or identify the problem does it mean they can’t locate the problem or can’t locate the coins? And I’m not implying anything just little daddy‘s concern over his babies. Would you worry? The "marks" on the neck of the 1965 coin are breaks in the luster and can't be seen from several angles. The 1965 is MS 67, the 1966 is MS 66, the first 1967 is MS 66, the second 1967 is MS 67 and the 1982-P is a freshly graded MS 67. The 1982-P was in a MS 66 holder as was the 1965. I cracked out the 1965 from an MS 66 holder after the second attempt and it came back as an MS 66 again. The "mark" below the bust and below the W in WE is where it was struck through a small possibly metal object. After I told them it was struck through, it got the bump! Here's the coins in this submission:

Nice group. Hope for their return soon.

Nice coins Goldbully! Did you do ANYTHING SPECIAL to actually get yours back? I'm now in excess of 51 day! PCGS has gone dark. I've sent emails and left messages for call backs without hearing anything from anyone!?

Besides the issues of paying for express service, and not getting express service. You are not even getting Economy service. But what's really sad, when this all gets resolved - NADA - no refund, no vouchers, Nothing for the delay. I could be wrong and if I am , please let us know.

Had 2 economy submissions left at the FUN show 1-9-25 and grades posted 2-19-25 - I'm happy with the speed but not the grades! :)
