set value by PSA is just not right

this site is so weird to me or I just don't get it. I have a 1948 Bowman basketball set number 3 with 16 cards so far and PSA says set value $237 LOL with a Arnie Risen PSA 4 THEY SAY $35 LOL , go to any site that sells this card alone and you won't find one PSA 4 for under $400. and that doesnt include the other 15 cards I have. if anyone has the card I'll buy right now for $100 based on what PSA says value is.

Yeah it’s pretty well known that PSA’s price guide is worthless.
PSA has completely neglected this area of their business for sure. They will never have updated pricing like VCP, but they could sure hire someone to make it pretty close to market value.
VCP is probably the best tool for finding the actual values cards sell for.
Agree John.....but only to a point. Many times, a card hasn't been sold in years or shown in VCP in years and the old card value in VCP is not relevant to today.
