Ebay question. **UPDATED**

Early last year, did not Ebay have a function that allowed a buyer with a watched item to leave a note in regards to that item that displayed when on the watched item page? If so, did it just go away or is there a particular way to access this option, or am I just disremembering?

GC has that option, perhaps that is what you are thinking of?

When I googled the feature there were several articles about being upset because the note disappears upon purchase and cannot be saved. I still remember the feature, but could be wrong.

In the watched item list below "Bid Now" or "Buy it Now" for an item is a place to click for "Note to Self".

That's what I remember, but now not seeing it.

Yep, I just did it a couple days ago. You just have to go to the item in your watchlist.

Have I mistakenly removed this function somehow? It's not abailable to me.

Are you on a computer or your phone? I Just looked at both, and the "Note to self" link is only present when I go to my watch list on a computer. If I go to the item page (the item is already on my watch list) or if I view my watch list on my phone, "Note to self" does not exist.

I think this is the answer, I checked on my phone and it is indeed missing in that format.

Thanks Jeremy, but The "Note to Self" no longer shows on my PC watchlist nor my cellphone watchlist. It's been nearly a year since it left. Thanks all. Perhaps a call to ebay tomorrow. The above photo I posted is from my PC.

UPDATE. After going thru multiple Ebay self help questions to get to the end of their questions which did not help, it said try asking this AI your question. I did and it said "Go to watchlist" I clicked this highlighted area and sure enough there was "Note to Self" and when I went back to my Watchlist it was now added. Thanks everyone for your help. Not sure why asking AI the question got it repaired but it did.
