1950 S/D 25c in 66+ Will it CAC?

I have a high grade 1950 S/D quarter graded MS 66+ by our hosts. It is beautiful, but I do not think it will upgrade given a ding or other problem at around 4 o'clock on the reverse. The question is, will it CAC?

Agree, no CAC.

A few light hits, but I would think yes. Very nice coin!
I think this comes down to, “does the gouge on the reverse rim preclude a sticker at 66?” I don’t know the answer, but the coin looks great otherwise and I don’t see any other factors that would prevent passing at CAC.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
I think it would get a green bean.

Nice coin. If it CACs, and I think it should, it indicates JA thinks it’s solid for a 66 as they don’t consider the + designation.

Yes, until I saw that hit on the rim at 4:00 on the reverse.
Yes; green bean approved!

Yes
Is that really a gouge on the rim, or is it a flake of loose metal ?
Good question. I haven't looked at it in hand in a while, but I remember deciding it was a rim ding, which is a bit surprising given the condition of the rest of the coin. I'll have to remember to have another look.
