Two new Buffalo errors for my collection

Not the highest grades but still cool. Got the O/C at a B&M and the cud off ebay. The second one I currently own but with a slightly smaller cud than my other 1920

    Both nice. The cud example makes the mound that the buffalo is standing on looking that more pronounced.

    Very cool coins!

    The off-center is correctly called an error, because something went wrong during the striking process.

    The cud is a die state.
    Not technically an error, because the striking process (given the dies) was correct.
    It could be thought of as an "error" in terms of the mint's quality control process being imperfect (not immediately removing a die when the die state is somewhat poor).
    Best to call it a die state, though. Either way, a cool coin.
