Show me your Mexican Libertads!

I have always liked these, over the years I would buy them raw when I came across them, and when they were reasonably priced…

Recently, I went into my stash only to discover, of all the dates that I had duplicates of, I had three of the 1991 type two! What are the odds???

So I sent them off for grading, decided I wanted to keep the nicest one, which did indeed come back 69, after that I decided to sell the raw ones… I’m just going to go after certified examples from this point forward…

So with that, I only have three examples so far one gold and two silver, technically the gold is not an actual Libertad, but technically called "GOLD COINS OF MEXICO" PROGRAM…

I have not yet decided if I’m going to do the full date set or just a type set, definitely going to do a type set, but I might expand into getting all the dates afterwards… I only have three, I will post them here. Show me the ones you have, raw or graded!

Wow, MS69 on the 1991 T2! That is really good grade. I bought a "68" a while back and hadn't seen a higher grade. Good onya!

Welcome to the forums! I agree, the large slab seems a bit much, I would understand it on a 5 ounce… But a 2 ounce? Indeed it’s odd.
