Newp: Pan-Pac dollar

lordmarcovanlordmarcovan Posts: 43,661 ✭✭✭✭✭

This is a recent acquisition. I can’t afford the octagonal $50 Pan-Pac dream coin, but at least I’ve got its little brother, now.

Prior to this, the only Pan-Pac coin I’ve owned was the half dollar, in raw AU and possibly cleaned. (I was very briefly doing a classic commem type set in a Dansco, but that project didn’t last long.)

Very nice! I have the dollar and the half. Someday I hope to own the 2.50 but that will be the extent of my Pan Pac holdings!

Good purchase - that is a classic design. I have the $1, $2.50 (also great design) , and the .50. I have 7 of the dollar gold, 2 of the $2.50 and 18 of the .50. I love the “Americana” of the series and have bought the ones I like. Some are straight up dogs and I’m not spending the money on coins I don’t like. Good job on your $1
