Coin that is in my inventory was removed from sets..?

My 1936 PR66 Quarter has been removed from my 1936 set and my 1936-42 set. It was in there with no problems before, but now it's gone.
The coin is still in my inventory.
I cannot add this coin back to my sets, but I CAN add the PR64 that is also in my inventory. It's like the registry doesn't see that I have this coin.
What is going on here??

Well, as an update, it seems the cert has been invalidated for some reason.WTH

do you still have coin? strange the cert got cancelled. Probably a question for customer service.

Yes I have the coin. I contacted the original submitter since it seems the whole submission is missing, he was unaware also. We'll see on Monday hopefully.

  • Please be sure to let us know how this gets resolved.

  • I had this happen to me as well. One day I noticed a gap in my inventory that wasn't there before. The entry simply vanished. An email to PCGS and it was corrected within a few days.

I forgot to update here. The cert is back in operation. The issue was with the original submitter and PCGS, I find it unfair that a coin I bought from the submitter was disabled entirely outside of my control. PCGS should know that people sell coins that they grade, and they should have seen that it was in a registry set that did not belong to the original submitter.
Overall it's not a big deal, but I am a little irritated that I was temporarily punished for something I had nothing to do with.
