61st Annual Knoxville TN Coin Show January 31-Feb 1

Nice two day show that opens tomorrow morning at 10. I have seen several forum members attending in the past. I usually roll in on Saturday but I have other plans. Fortunately, I get to go this Friday!!! Anyone else going?

I went two years ago. I thought that it was a nice show. I cannot make it this year.
Please post reports love to hear how it goes
Wish I could be there
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
I will attend on Saturday.
I think Yosclimber (Clint) is making a presentation on Half dimes there. James
@BHNC054 - you might want to jump into this thread!
@yosclimber, if you're making a half dime presentation, I'm sorry I won't be there. We haven't met in person but I hold you in high regard and look forward to meeting someday! I'm going to hope your presentation is on seated (which I don't have a strong interest in) so as to attenuate my FOMO. But the gent I tagged above is Glenn, and he's a Knoxville local so you guys may cross paths.

Not that I know of.
I did make a short presentation to the Liberty Seated Collectors Club on their monthly Zoom meeting some months ago.
And I had a short paragraph in the January 2025 LSCC E-Gobrecht PDF.
I found this mention of the Nashville show on page 35 (and 44) of that PDF:
@Bikergeek thank you for your kind words!
Please post show reports.

@yosclimber. Sorry must have miss -read. James
True, but I heard there is this newfangled thing called a jet plane.
It beats the old horse and buggy for those longer trips.
[Edit to add:] Of course, the plane involves spending much money that could instead be used to buy coins.
How much is the parking?

I was there for the first time, helping Larry Briggs, and it was a very good show. Traffic on Friday and Saturday lasted well into the afternoon. The venue was very nice, nicer than most coin shows.
I had too many conflicts and couldn’t go this year but I always like working with David Johnson there. TSNS will be fairly soon in Chattanooga, too.
David is a great guy! First stop I made was to say Hi and socialize. He had lots of nice coins but my budget was not as big as I wanted.
Oh, I know exactly what you mean.
Didn't know it was scheduled. Was it advertised anywhere. Didn't see anything about the show on this forum or Coin Talk.
Im on a mailing list and it seems to hit near my birthday, which is an easy reminder(and excuse to go!)
