Recently J.Thomas and Rickie Fowler and been in discussion and disagreement over it's effective use and enforcement. At issue is the pace of play. So now it's not only baseball and it's slow pace that is an issue.

Pace of play for the pros has been a discussion for at least 40 years. Valid concern. They take forever to play.
During the 4th round yesterday at the Farmers slow play was an issue again. Was concern at the time of play they were predicted to finish 15 minutes into darkness, which would of meant finishing on Sunday. But players picked up the pace to finish 15 minutes earlier than predicted. Fortunate there was not a tie.
BTW Harris English won at 100-1 odds.
slow play has been around forever, but it's especially damaging when interest in pro golf is plummeting due to the schism. last thing the tour needs is another reason for viewers to tune out.
i know my current interest is as low as it has ever been. it'll pick back up when Scheffler & Spieth return at Pebble, but it still won't be at pre-LIV levels
btw Brian Harman & Tom Kim are the world's worst
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
I still like watching the golf. But these first 4 tournaments have dragged. But interest will pick up once the "A team" players join the action.
Scotties return will be of interest in light of his hand injury. No doubt he will still enjoy favorite status for the foreseeable future.
