Post a coin or medal to commemorate/celebrate today.
Martin Luther King Day and Inauguration Day.
Interesting Trivia.
MLK Day was first observed in 1986 and it is observed on the third Monday in January.
Inauguration day was moved to January 20th in 1937 after passage of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.
Previously Inauguration day was usually held on March 4th, but it was also held on 4-30-1789; 3-5-1821, 1849, 1877 and 1917; 4-6-1841; 7-10-1850; 4-15-1865; 9-20-1881; 9-14-1901; 8-3-1923; 4-12-1945; 11-22-1963; and 8-9-1974 for reasons mostly tied to the death of or resignation of the previous president. If January 20 falls on a Sunday the inauguration is moved to Monday, January 21 (this happened in 1957, 1985 and 2013).
Since 1986 the only years that MLK Day and Inauguration Day happened on the same date are 1997 and 2025.
If you are a fan of college football you could also commemorate/celebrate the D-1 Championship game being played today.

I haven't seen any advertisements for an Inaugural Medal for President Trumps second term. Will there be one?
