Trying to help a friend and he has a family member with a few rolls of common date UNC Franklin halves (aren't they all common date? ) and rolls of UNC 1964 Kennedy halves.
What is the going rate on these? I can quote silver, but I think they go a little above that. Wondering what they might expect from a store front as well. To my knowledge, unlikely they are OBW. Just "normal" put together rolls
TIA
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

If they are put-together or picked-over rolls, they may have a premium, but the real value would be in any higher grade and/or very well-struck FBL pieces. Ebay prices realized would be the best place to start.
I knew it would happen.
bump!
Melt is currently sitting right at 22x so $220 a roll.
Halves tend to carry a slight premium over other junk denominations and UNC would probably add some to that. I'm sure without too much effort I could find a few buyers at $240, sure eBay probably a bit more but after fees and shipping you didn't do any better. Most LCS will give you some sob story about how nobody's buying and they have to be well back of melt but you could probably eventually find one willing to offer spot since they are UNC halves.
You could always help your friend and throw them up on the BST here and see what interest they may bring. RGDS!
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

If they are genuinely OBW rolls, the Franklins would have a nice premium - I think. The 1964 Kennedys, probably some premium - depending on what the end coins look like - but not as high a premium as the Franklins.
I knew it would happen.
BU rolls of 1964s go for around $240-$250/roll.
BU rolls of Franklins sell for around $300/roll. More, obviously, for key dates like the 49-S.
