Card storage question (monster boxes)

Hiya fellas. Quick question. I store all of what I consider “decent” late 70’s and 80’s commons in 5000 ct monster boxes. So how many filled monster boxes would you guys feel comfortable stacking on top of each other (How many high in other words)? Thanks

I agree with you, I was just seeing if I might be making a mistake.

I've stacked 4 high with the lighter 2,not completely filled, on top.

I have stacked four high so I think that is ok but i prefer a stack of 3. I have those heavy duty plastic shelves from home depot and they stack 3 high nicely.

I’ve had 5 high. It didn’t seem worrisome. I only got rid of those stacks because I changed how I organize my cards.

Provided what they’re sitting on is level and solid I think the weight transfer isn’t enough to cause deformation.

I found a BCW spec stating they test to 200lbs.
