1964-D Quarter - Die Chip on MM

A co-worker recently inherited a bunch of change jar coins. He's been spending time looking through them for anything scarce or unusual. He brought me the coin pictured below. He suspected that the mint mark is doubled. After a naked eye and low magnification look, I told him it looks like a die chip filling the D. He let me take it home to photograph to get a closer look. It looks pretty clear to me. Any other opinions? I'm pretty sure the answer will be "no", but I'll ask anyway since I don't deal with this kind of thing: Is there any extra value to such a coin? Thanks.

PCGS does recognize a repunched mintmark for 1964 D. It’s hard to tell if this is one or not - take a look at Coinfacts: https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1964-d-25c-rpm-fs-501/146005
As for value, search “1964 D quarter mint mark” or “error” on eBay and filter to sold items. Similar coins appear to be selling for $10-$12.
