Adrian Peterson vs Derrick Henry

If Henry plays another 2 seasons, they should be within 1k yards of each other on the all time list. should be very close in TD as well. Discounting all off field issues, who would you take? I know recency bias would say Henry, but Peterson had some great seasons as well. They both had 2k seasons.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    King Kong vs Godzilla

Your not losing either way but if I had to chose one I'd say Henry since he will beat down defensive players to. the point where they really don't want to tackle him

before this season, I would have taken Peterson. but after 1900+ yards this year for Henry, I will also take him. He is a battering ram for sure. I think he has another big year in him next season and possibly one more good season after that. you never know with RB though. they can hit the cliff fast.

I'd go with Henry, it seems like he's getting better as he gets older where AP had some pretty subpar seasons in his later years. He also bounced around a lot after turning 30 having played with 7 teams during his age 31-36 years.

Henry also seems like he's in the perfect place where the offense could slowly lessen his carries totals as he gets older and still be a lethal tandem with Jackson out of the backfield.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a bigger Vikings fan than me.

However, AP was fumbled in really critical moments. Between that & his off-the-field issues, he's behind Robert Smith, Chuck Foreman, Bill Brown, Dave Osborn, Chester Taylor, Rick Fenney, Tommy Mason and Jim Kleinsasser as my favorite Vikings running backs.

So my answer is Derrick Henry.
