Tale of 2 submissions

So, due to various personal reasons, I wasn't on the boards much over the last 5 years or so, and I didn't submit some for regrading that I wanted to (at the suggestion of another board member for a series he is an expert in).

Finally, EOY24, when my membership was going to expire, I used my 8 gradings. Then, a couple days later, I used my renewed membership for another 8.

So, in early/mid-December, knowing holidays/FUN were just around the corner and things could be slow, I sent 1 package with 2 separate submissions.

Took about 3 business days to get there (registered) and then another almost week to get entered as "received".
Then, I started watching....those who submit know this game

I would originally just watch the first submission. Then I decided to check the 2nd one. The 2nd listed one went "grading" while the first stayed "received".
Then tonight, I checked. First one still "received" status. 2nd one has entered "imaging" status.

All are silver Roosevelt dimes (toned).

So, I just find it interesting how, 2 submissions, same coin type, same service level, same package and arrival, can get their timing so different.

I know they will come back individually packaged anyway, as PCGS still doesn't hold submissions to return together (to my knowledge), so I am not complaining about the difference. They will be done when they are done. I just find it interesting

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
