Taking cards out of binder pockets

Hi I bought a binder of Gretzky cards from an estate sale. Just trying to take them out and put in individual sleeves and toploaders. Maybe I am over thinking this but was going to get small scissors to cut the plastic on each pocket so card can be removed without damaging a corner. Heres one of the pages
Feedback would be appreciated. Thank you

Just remove the plastic page from the binder first, and then gently slide the card directly out. I’ve never had any issues damaging corners using this technique.

Agree...and avoid any accidental damage from the scissors. Sharp objects and vintage cards do not mix. ;)
