Pretty nice. I think it would be better with only one color in the stripe that goes through the team name, but a nice looking design.

Looks like a pretty clean design overall. The vertical stripes and the team name font remind me of 1982 Topps.

resembles 1982 topps with the hockey sticks on the side.

Does a utility player have multiple dots on the diamond showing all positions played?
Where will the the dot be for Shohei and other DHs?

    Good questions.

    Hiya Robert

    Good to say hey buddy.

I like the design tho I never do their base set since I do TSC, Chrome, Bowman and Heritage.

And since I have more cards than I will ever look at anymore? I may stop doing the sets. Sad to say.

    Thanx for sharing.

Not a fan. To me it is an amalgamation of 2020 - logo on lower left, 2019 ode to 1982 hockey sticks and 2024 with team name on left instead of top.

I absolutely loved the 2024 design and liked the 2019 which I prefer to this.

I love the design. Reminds me of 80s thru and thru.

Can’t wait to bust packs with my boys!

It's OK. I do not like the "field map" in the lower right corner. This is not "baseball for dummies"...we know where players stand...lol. If you need a graphic for positions, use the 1976 design.

Not a fan. They look like "been there done that". I can't blame Topps though. After so many years of trying to come up with unique card designs, sooner or later you're going to run out of original ideas.

Agree, seems like about the same as they have done the last few years. Nothing really different in a while.

We're already getting that with this year's Heritage, which is what I personally am the most curious about!

OK, this will sound a little goofy but all the new cards are just too perfect. They're all 10s. I kind of miss the style of the 60's cards, with just a little gloss, cardboard that actually bends, imperfections that just seemed to make the cards a little more unique. Cartoons on the backs. Airbrushed hats if the player had been traded. Simpler designs even if somewhat ugly. That perfect card was rare and memorable...and gorgeous.

Maybe that's another reason why I've put off for years and years updating my Topps set/run/sequence? Pretty much with all things I just think for the most part, stuff from the 20th century is just far more fascinating and interesting. Though at least in video games there is plenty from the 2000s decade I enjoy (especially MegaMan Battle Network series).
